Maa ka Doodh is an award-winning investigative feature film that exposes the complexities of India's dairy farming. The director, Harsha Atmakuri, has courageously shone a light on the darkest corners of the dairy industry – lifting the veil of goodness strongly associated with milk. To do this, he travelled 20,000 kilometres across India for two years, meeting with people directly or indirectly associated with dairy.

The movie is a 125 minute long compelling journey through the dairy farms of India while exposing the abuse, malpractice, and exploitation of mothers for their milk. It untangles the ethical, political, cultural, religious, and economic perspectives that surround dairy in India.
