Animal Save India or Animal, Climate and Health Save India is a registered Non-Profit Organisation under Section 8 as Animal Climate and Health Save Foundation.

The Animal, Climate and Health Save India are creating a social justice movement in India that encourages healthy planetary choices to reverse climate change, to reforest the Earth and seeks to abolish all forms of animal exploitation and promote veganism.

WHAT WE FOLLOW

We follow a non-violent love-based approach that arrives from the two cardinal principles of Mahatma Gandhi: Satya (Truth) and Ahimsa (Non-violence) in our grassroots activism for social change. Through our wide network of chapters across India, we strive for direct effective communication and action in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to impart to the Indian public a sense of moral responsibility to live in harmony with our fellow sentient beings.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to lead India toward a sustainable, equitable, just, eco-friendly, and plant-based society that imbibes love and compassion for all humans and non-humans, and protects the future of our environment.

OUR JOURNEY

In November 2018, a passionate collective of animal rights activists laid the foundation for what would swiftly evolve into a nationwide crusade for compassion and change, starting from the bustling streets of Mumbai.  Our peaceful vigils and advocacy have inspired chapters across India, expanding to 12 chapters, including Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Surat, Kanpur, Pondicherry and many others, led by 25 organisers and numerous volunteers. Our actions span over 30 cities, aiming to reach every corner of India.

In 2023, we've made significant strides, hosting over 90 film screenings in 35 cities and influencing more than 10,000 individuals towards veganism. Our involvement in the National Animal Rights Day has showcased our commitment to global and national collaboration. Additionally, our participation in COP28, presenting the "Safe & Just: The Vegan Donut Economics Approach to Food Systems" report, highlighted the urgent need for a global shift to plant-based food systems.

We also launched the Youth Internship Program with Youth 4 Water Plus and UNICEF support, focused on the climate crisis and sustainable food systems, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. This program offers youth practical experiences and insights into climate action, setting a foundation for future advocacy.

Our efforts and numerous other initiatives emphasise our dedication to creating a compassionate, sustainable world through animal rights and vegan promotion. Our ongoing work inspires and mobilises people across India and globally, underscoring our deep commitment to meaningful, lasting change.
